[Ux] PCP/PMT Meeting notes, March 25, 2014

Hi All,

I am doing some new tests now and I have the following problems.

1. I activated the contrast, then deactivated the contrast and
activated the magnifier (lens). The contrast of the screen is ok, but the
what is shown in the lens is with high contrast.

2. The languages are lost! Only English appears and the other
languages appear only when you scroll over them.

3. Whatever the selected contrast is, when you go to the magnifier
options then text appearing is black on yellow.

4. The button more/less is white and it is not visible at all. It is
becoming black only when you place the cursor on the top of it.

I will keep on testing and come with further issues is necessary.

Best regards,

Eleni Chalkia

Hi Eleni,

Just pinging you by nameto make sure you see the below task with your name
on it. Basically we would like some clarity on the priority of the radio
button contrast issue (see notes below and JIRA)

Cheers,
~kasper

Agenda items:

*	Demo at CSUN was awesome
*	GPII-526 update / Status of the world (ie. a working system by
following the pilot 2 branch)

*	pull request pending on saving modified settings only (not all
settings)
*	Kasper has a fix for GPII-526 that will go directly into pilots2
branch
*	two other pull requests will also get put directly into pilots2
branch
*	TASKS: KASPER will create a JIRA to describe the hacky fixes and
differences between pilot2 and master branch

*	GPII-648: There are problems with the fix as it works for PMT but
prevents the switching from PCP to PMT. Leaving for later, as it only
affects FF in windows and is not vital for pilots. CHRIS will make a comment
on the pull request. (meeting minutes from March 11)
*	TASKS: KASPER will go through the list when checking whether the
branch is working and create JIRAs accordingly

*	GPII-521: Umbrella - Ignacio will determine if there are any styling
blockers for pilots left.
*	GPII-667: Pull request pending
*	GPII-669: Justin and Alex has been discussing this on Github - close
to being ready to merge. Justin just reviewed, very minor comments that
needs to be adressed - prob. last round of reviews
*	GPII-677: There are currently two implementations of the checkboxes,
one works so the fix for this part should be relatively easy to do. Alex has
sent a mail to Chris about this. Wrt Punctuation marks radio-boxes, this fix
is more involved. We need input from ELENI as to whether this is a blocker

*	TASK: ELENI - is the high contrast issue on radio buttons (under
punctuation marks in screenreader) a blocker?

*	GPII-681: We are unsure whether this is a windows issue or has to do
with the PMT/PCP. Alex will do some investigation

*	TASK: ALEX - do some triaging to find out what the issue (and
potential fix) is.

*	Pull Requests: https://github.com/GPII/prefsEditors/pulls

*	We discussed each of these when going through JIRAs
