FYI,

I am forwarding a discussion on the scenario for demonstrating the Smart
House simulation. Sorry I forgot to include the list previously.

Best,
Boyan

Hi Gregg!

QUESTIONS

All personas listed in the wiki (
http://wiki.gpii.net/w/SmartHouses_Preference_Sets) are implemented, but
any GPII preference set can actually be used (since we connect to the
cloud-based Flow Manager). The simulation supports login of a single user
only (no multiple simultaneous users).

We have a list of items that we want implemented in the wiki:
http://wiki.gpii.net/w/index.php/Smart_House_Matrix. It contains an
adaptation for each persona/device pair. It might be a bit outdated - I
will try to update soon (and provide information on what is already
implemented).

Yes, that makes sense. Since we have a phone in our simulation (
https://smarthouse-dev.remex.hdm-stuttgart.de/#/devices/phone), we can show
the alert there.

> 4) in #2 below — you mean the Oven’s ‘look-and-feel’ settings yes?
> (not temp settings)

I mean settings like temperature, duration of cooking, etc. Ovens don't
usually have UI for setting 'look-and-feel' settings like contrast, font
size, etc. This comes from the GPII preference set only (but if you think
it should be configurable via the oven buttons, we can add that).

Thanks for that! We will rephrase.

What about language? The audio might be in English (for one user to
understand), and captions would be shown in e.g. Spanish for another...
Just a thought.

7) I like the conflict resolution = is there another set of settings we

It would be worth it to demonstrate at least two conflict resolutions
scenarios. We need to think a bit more on that to come up with good
alternatives -- any thoughts are welcome.

We will set up a Linux workstation with Firefox where the reviewer can
