Heyho Till,

Yep that sounds like a good idea. I'd generally aim for opt-ins.
Yet, we first have to come up on how to design an manage the quests first :)

Yep, I will place my stuff in the wiki. The gamified portal we talked about will also be linked from there, and also stores a copy of the content from the wiki.

Best regards,
Andy

Hi Andi,

I think what would be nice for a DSPACE gamification would be that we would be able to send "quests" by email to engange people even if they are not on site (opt-out or opt-in style ?).

I think important from gamification perspective is
* the endorsement part
* the feedback by email
* the score based on activity
* the per topic emails for specific "quests"
* the overview emails for new "quests"

@all: I think email would be an interesting interface, that we have not considered that much, but would IMHO be very important because people will not really often be logged in. What do you think?

Really looking forward to your analysis regarding the possible uses of such patterns for DSPACE and AT Developers in general.

BTW: there is already a page on the WIKI:
http://wiki.gpii.net/w/Gamification

It would be great if you can link your new stuff there.

BR

Till
